Get ready for another amazing jazz concert! This time, The Blue Study Live presents a trio of incredibly talented and cohesive musical partners: Scott Murphy, Justin Siu, and Samuel Chan. They will be delivering a jazz night filled with warmth, featuring Scott Murphy's original compositions.

Scott Murphy arrived in Hong Kong in early 2018, and his first professional musical performance in the city was in response to an invitation from bassist Justin Siu. Together with Samuel Chan, Justin's long-time partner and the core of the rhythm section, the trio has since performed countless times on various stages - from intimate listening rooms to energetic concert halls. Through these experiences, they have developed a deep rapport based on trust, improvisation, and a shared musical aesthetic.

In this latest edition of Blue Study Live, the trio will present a set of songs centered around Scott Murphy's original compositions. Known for his warm tone and clear melodic lines on the Saxophone, Scott has collaborated with numerous internationally acclaimed jazz and pop artists, including Kendrick Scott, Will Vinson, Janek Gwizdala, Cheung Hing-han, George Lam, Billy Ocean, and Rubberband. His performances have taken him to international stages around the world.
